Seiko 5 Sports is pleased to present a collaboration in honor of Bruce Lee, who wore Seiko 5 Sports throughout his life. This anniversary model pays tribute to a man whose legacy lives on through his many achievements as a fighter, actor and cultural icon.
Bruce Lee
Born in San Francisco, Bruce Lee was a film actor, fighter, director and teacher whose career spanned all continents. He became a superstar with the big hit Big Boss (1971), but tragically died at the young age of 32 while filming the movie Enter the Dragon (1973). Lee also starred in other films, including Marlowe (1969), Way of the Dragon (1972) and many others. As a multi-talented creator and martial arts expert, Lee founded Jeet Kune Do, which means "Way of the Repulsive Fist". His work continues to attract fans from all over the world, and we believe that this Limited Edition edition is a real hit.
Design
The dial features a dragon that Lee drew during his lifetime. And the border represents the spirit of Jeet Kune Do with a phrase that translates to "Using no path as a path; having no limitations as limitations."
Belt
The black leather strap is reminiscent of the clothes worn in kung fu movies with a dragon design on the inside. Also, the watch comes with a nylon strap in the color of the yellow tracksuit worn by Bruce Lee.
Back cover
The glass back cover of the case shows the fundamental symbol of Jeet Kune Do, which is based on the Yin and Yang symbol. The back cover also says "Limited Edition" and the serial number of the specified watch model.
Special box
To mark the collaboration, the watch comes in a specially designed box with Bruce Lee's signature.
