For over 25 years, Citizen has partnered with the Blue Angels, an elite flying squadron, to create watches that embody the latest aviator technology and great functionality. During the first collaboration in 2002, when Eco-Drive technology was used, it resulted in the iconic Blue Angels Navihawk. Innovation continues with the Eco-Drive Blue Angels Skyhawk, which received a Super Titanium case and, after 2009, radio controlled time tracking.
The Blue Angels are an American flying squadron, formed in 1946, which, along with the French Patrouille de France (from 1931), makes it the oldest aerobatic flying group. The group flies on McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet planes, in a group of 6 planes.
They are very popular, they have 60 performances a year and are seen by around 11 million viewers a year.
During the execution of the program, the planes fly at a mutual distance of less than 2 meters, at speeds of up to 1100 km/h, slightly below Mach 1, and the load that the pilots bear during individual elements ranges up to 7.3 g.
Contrary to the rather widespread layman's understanding of flying, exceptional coordination in the performance of acrobatics is not the result of precise instrument readings or the help of modern aviation systems. Pilots solely rely on their own assessment of the position and distance from the lead aircraft on the basis of which they must steer their aircraft to ensure minimal deviation from the given position in relation to the others.

You can track the status of your shipment online at any time by entering the shipment number that you will receive via e-mail after the shipment has been handed over to the delivery service.
Delivery is made on working days, from Monday to Friday. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are not working days.
